When is the Christmas Market 2024 in Wroclaw?
The Christmas Market in Wroclaw will begin as early as 29th November, attracting thousands of visitors both from Poland and abroad every year. This is one of the major and most popular winter attractions in the capital of Lower Silesia. Many people consider this fair to be the most beautiful in Eastern Europe.
How long does the Christmas Market in Wroclaw last?
In 2024, the Christmas Market in Wroclaw will last until 7th January, including New Year's Eve and Epiphany. It will be open every day from 10 a.m. till 9 p.m. except:
- 24th December 2024 (Christmas Eve),
- 25th December 2024,
- 26th December 2024 – from 1 p.m. till 9 p.m.,
- 31st December 2024 (New Year's Eve) – houses with industrial goods will only be open until 5 p.m., catering and drinks until 2 a.m. (1st January 2025),
- 1st January 2025 (New Year's Day).
What attractions can you expect on the Christmas Market in Wroclaw?
During the Christmas Market 2024, there will be numerous attractions and exhibitors' stands to be found on Wroclaw’s Market Square, from Świdnicka Street to the underground passage at Oławska Street and on Plac Solny. Traditionally, these will include:
- Fairytale Forest,
- Christmas Windmill,
- Reindeer carousel,
- Rollercoaster.
What can you buy on the Christmas Market in Wrocław?
Wroclaw’s Christmas Market is a great opportunity to buy unique Christmas delicacies or handicrafts. In November and December, the stalls will feature mainly baubles, cosmetics, jewellery and many other items. There will also be food stands, including, of course, mulled wine in a distinctive shoe-shaped vessel.
