The study has analysed seven factors that improve the attractiveness of cities and encourage investors. They include infrastructure, office space, support of public administration, educational potential, employment potential, business potential and the evaluation of the location as a place to live.

Wroclaw is the best for investors

Wroclaw is the most popular among respondents of the study who declared investments in the geographical development of the company. The average rating of the city is 7.2 on a 1–10 scale (0.2 increase towards 2019, which puts Wroclaw in the first place ex aequo with Warsaw. The best-rated aspects were the evaluation of the location as a place to live (7.9), educational potential (7.7) and business potential (7.7). Jakub Mazur, Deputy Mayor of Wroclaw

According to the authors of the Business Environment Assessment Study, Wroclaw is a leading economic, technological and cultural centre and one of the most dynamically developing metropolises in Poland. The city is known for its business-friendly approach: many renowned Polish companies were founded here, and foreign investors regarded Wroclaw as one of the best locations in Europe.

The magnet that attracts investors to Wroclaw is the dynamically developing infrastructure. Human resources are one of Wroclaw’s strongest assets. Wroclaw is also the most attractive city for the relocation of managers and specialists and the best perceived city brand in Poland.

The Business Environment Assessment Study was carried out using the CAWI method among bosses of 809 companies in Poland in the 4th quarter of 2020.
